Molly the moth

I left my new coat
In the hall
Right next to
A great big mothball
When I returned
To collect my coat
Molly the moth
Had left me a note
“I’ve eaten the coat”
“You left in the hall”
“It was truly delicious”
“Especially, that great big mothball”
